Late Game Power Surge Propels Yankees to 9th Straight Win in Camden Yards

Maybe it’s just that we notice it more often than not, but it often seems that whenever a television broadcast displays a graphic, or the announcers mention, a lack of some type of statistic (for example: “Mychal Givens hasn’t allowed a run in May”), it always seems to break immediately afterwards.

And did it break tonight for the New York Yankees.

Down 6-1, entering the 6th inning, the Yankees finally got to the Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher, Andrew Cashner, and going into the final third of the game, they were only trailing 7-3.

Then, everything broke right. (And luckily, I’m not talking about broken bones! Nobody new to add to the IL tonight.)
