ProfRobert here. Paul is kindly allowing me to guest curate again this week. The political races are heating up, so this week we’ll be looking at namesakes (at least surnamesakes) of U.S. Vice Presidents. In keeping with the theme, nearly all of the Yankees are as obscure as their namesakes. None of the Veeps became President, so we’re including a photo of the namesake as likely useless hint. We’re also going in reverse chronological order that the Veep served. Bonus point if you can name the ex-Veep along with the ex-Yankee.
Friday: Thanks to Paul for letting me curate this week. I’m as enthusiastic about this opportunity as the name of the pictured Yankee suggest. As for the Veep, that Administration was the first in history to win the Electoral College while losing the popular vote.
