With a certain donut-themed restaurant extending National Donut Day (4/5) up to a full week, we’ve decided to echo this with the trivia of the week with 4 Yankees players and one former coach.
This player, a Yankee from 1930-1932 is most remembered for being a Red Sox outfielder from 1933-1936. His name almost has two donut-related cooking terms, his first name related to what it’d be called after adding confectionary sugar to a donut and his last name another term for one who prepares food.
