Neither Marcus Stroman or Anthony Rizzo made the cut, but the team is still looking strong for a series against the Royals.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

If Marcus Stroman lost his spot on the roster to another reliever who was performing much better than he was, I would totally understand. Stroman had a terrible September. But losing his roster spot to Duke Ellis?
I saw Duke Ellis's name there, and my first thought was Shirley MacLaine singing, "I landed, pow, right in a pot of jam." Lou Gehrig may finally have competition for Luckiest Man on the Face of the Earth.
Why would the omission of Stroman make the Yankees stronger which is the implication of the only line in this post? Stroman has been terrible and the only sensible use of him in the series would be mop up duty in blowouts. The multiple off days in this series makes Stroman an easy guy to leave off the roster.
