There was an old joke about Russian new reports about a 2-man Olympic race where the Russian runner lost. The reports said that the Russian runner finished second and the other runner finished next to last.

Just got home. I asked Ethan to let me head to a TV to watch and he said, "You don't want to." I saw Trevino fly out.

And that was that.

The concert... was GREAT!!!!!!

Yogi Berra actually had one of his famous quotes in Los Angeles during the 1978 Yankees vs Dodgers World Series. There was a minor earthquake in Los Angeles during that World Series, not even close to the magnitude of the one in San Francisco in 1989, but enough to make the news when it happened. And Yogi said "I didn't feel nothing. It must have bypassed me".

This loss is on a) Rodon with his gopher balls, and b) Judge, 0-for-4, 3 Ks, 9th inning rally killer.

They did…time to get away from L.A. and try to get back in it in N.Y.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
