In the short term you are correct but Yankees rotation has questions marks and without Cole well this just isn't a solid group. ... Snell pitching in Oracle will have a very good year and Montgomery in Chase should do well. I would not assume Schmidt and Gill will be better over the course of the year. We'll see.

Sports are private businesses. What has happened to Ohtani, and in the NFL, even a blind person can see that was inevitable, and will only get worse.

As for Ohtani and him speaking to the media, that was a joke. As far as I'm concerned, the Dodgers need to be fined, Roberts needs to be suspended, and Ohtani needs to be called out, if not suspended and/or fined. They can't tell the public he will speak with the media, and will be good for him, etc., when at the end of the day it was him reading s prepared statement and not taking any questions. True It might be odd but until the investigation is complete nobody knows how Ohtani manages his affairs or money and it appears on surface he has been severely comprised by his so-called former friend. In addition, the outrage and believing a fine or suspension is warranted is foolish and ridiculous until the MLB investigation is complete. Who is the harmed party in this scenario?
