I think Boras has changed his tactics the last several years, by waiting on deals, instead of actively negotiating deals. I think this change has been very bad. But we forget that the agency is actually called the Boras Corporation. He has numerous agents under him, representing many other players. One agent under him is former Yankee Wayne Tolleson. The question is, by Boras sitting back and keeping the big name players unsigned, hoping to get the clubs to bend and give in, is he stopping guys like Tolleson from stopping to get his players signed?

What I am wondering. Could the Yankees sign someone like a Blake Snell with "deferred payments" the way the Dodgers did with Shohei Ohtani?
