With all due respect to EJ the Yankees problem is not that they're too focused on exit velocity. Its that most of their hitters either 1) stink 2) are past their prime or 3) too injury prone.

I understand your point. I think EJ is in the right ballpark. It's the one-dimensional approach. The Yankees, to me, think there is one right way to do something. And then they stick with that when it no longer makes sense.

We have had so much content, and I like to keep us on a predictable schedule with articles at 6:00, 10:00, 2:00, and then the game... that I haven't been able to fit EJ's articles on this in.

But I will. I'll find a space for them so everyone can see in more detail what he's driving at.

My bigger point, as I mentioned, is that the YANKEES should be doing this work, not podcasters and bloggers. :)

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
