Paul, you gotta stop putting the blame at Boone's feet. EJ is right, it's all on Cashman & Hal. As for Stanton, he needs some sort of neuro muscular examination, before anything else. I've watched a lot of minor league Yankees affiliate games these past 2 years (and its always the home team's broadcast) and to me, there seems to be a definitive change once these kids hit AAA. Plus Cashman stuffs the AAA team with a lot of veterans, who also end up playing and blocking the kids from being promoted when they're ready. Do you know what it took to get Thorpe promoted to AA? He needed back to back awful outings. Only then, did they finall…
Great episode! This episode changed my my mind about a number of things. The Dr.'s arguments regarding the Yankees "hard hitting" philosophy are compelling. If you are a Yankee fan, and have never listened to a podcast, this is the one to start with.
