Great podcast! Great to listen to good, thoughtful, Yankees talk during my drive in to work.

I ranted in the Start Spreading the News comments section several days ago, and since then, one of my rants has continued to ferment inside my skull. I fully agree with you guys that the Yankees need to take a long hard look at their organizational hitting approach, but I think the problem my be deeper than the hitting instruction. If you look at the history of the Yankee's amateur scouting successes, they are very few and far between. Me? I'm firing Briend, Graham Johnson, having a discussion with Preston Claiborne before firing or keeping him. Same wth the AA pitching Coach. Im getting rid of the entire Tampa staff. Im naming Matt Blake my pitching coordinator. With a new GM, no one else on the ML staff is safe. As for analytics, they are for information only, they no longer get a vote on anything. The Yankees need real coaches from the Latin American acadamies to to Majors.


Disappointed Pereira is not in the lineup tonight. As for Wells, Florial, etc. let them play. Cabrera struggles as a right handed hitter, but can't put Pereira out there with a lefty starter? Not playing Pereira, who do i fire…
