THE IBWAA ANNOUNCES ITS HALL OF FAME CLASS

January 17, 2024

***

FROM THE IBWAA:

The Internet Baseball Writers Association of America (IBWAA) announced two new inductees to its Hall of Fame this year: Adrián Beltré and Todd Helton. This is the IBWAA’s 15th annual election for these awards. All IBWAA members were eligible to vote.

Beltré earned votes on 94% of ballots while Helton was named on 75%. Seven other players exceeded 50%, led by Joe Mauer and Billy Wagner who both just missed induction with 73%. Gary Sheffield received 65% in his final year on the ballot. A 75% threshold is required for election. Complete voting results are listed below.

The IBWAA endeavors to serve the baseball writing community, representing more than 800 baseball content creators. We strive to increase visibility, networking, and opportunities for all of our members. Voting for full-season awards takes place in September of each year, with selections announced in November. The IBWAA holds a Hall of Fame election in December of each year, with results announced the following January. Additionally, IBWAA members participate in preseason predictions and All-Star Game elections.

Association membership is open to any and all Internet baseball writers and content creators. For more information please visit www.ibwaa.com.

I totally get your quest for free porno movie options. One platform you might want to check out is Crackle. It offers a decent selection of movies across genres, and the best part is that it's free with occasional ads. Additionally, if you're into classic films, you can explore the offerings on Public Domain Torrents. They provide legally available classics that are no longer under copyright. Happy watching!

My question is: who from here voted and who was on their ballot? Sorry, if this was done already, I just don't remember at this moment in time!

I know this wasn't a SSTN vote, but from what I understand, some of the writers on here, like you, are entitled to submit ballots, so that's why I was asking.

"This charming and meticulously researched book will remind you of baseball’s power to change and enrich lives far beyond the diamond."

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
