Boone was hired by Cashman to giving cover in talking to the media, Boone was hired to give legitimacy in the clubhouse to the analytics. No more, no less.


As for the games on Prime, the Yankees sold most of the YES Network to FOX. When FOX was forced to sell their different local RSNs, the Yankees needed partners to buy it back, including Amazon. Amazon owns 20% of the network. There was an agreement made to put X amount of games…

I was wrong, 100% about the Stanton deal. I thought he was the first big step and that Harper (a no brainer, such the smart move) was next. When they passed on him, the decline began.

I agree with your point about games being sold to streaming services but the Amazon Prime games are only unavailable to fans in the NY market. Out of market fans like me can see those games on MLB.tv which we have anyway to follow the Yankees.

Thanks. I think you'll get a lot more listeners. Unfortunately, Youtube doesn't have an audio only option, and listening to video broadcasts are a battery killer.
