As far as player's salaries, then Flyers GM Bobby Clarke said it best, too many players make money they don't deserve because their stats in their walk year match what the true all stars, or the sports superstores make. I can't agree enough with that statement.
As for Boras, let's not forget, Boras tried taking control of the union in 2020. But to take it further, many times he isn't the agent that does most of the negotiating, but dies show up for the superstar players. The problem I have with that, is that if these top players aren't signing, who is he holding back from signing in the meantime?

Regarding Monument Park, I totally agree, and I think Joe Pepitone (3 time All Star, 3 time Gold Glove winner) belongs there as well.
Regarding Bill White, he definitely deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame. Great career numbers, great broadcaster, pioneering baseball executive, and he also had to endure severe racism as he was coming up through the minor leagues in the deep south, which left him quite bitter at times. It's not nearly as good as being inducted into the National Hall Of Fame in Cooperstown, but at least he received the honor on a local level. I can relate to the point about overvaluing our worth with the example of the baseball cards. My extensive baseball card collection spanned from 1968 to 1984. After 1984, I stopped collecting cards and decided to hold on to my collection until the year 2000, because I figured it would increase in value between 1984 and 2000. In 2006, I decided to finally sell the collection. There were rookie cards in it of players who would go on to be big stars and Hall Of Famers. I thought the baseball card stores would pay a LOT for my entire collection, which was HUGE, and which I stored in special binders with plastic pages with "card holders" that held each bas…
