Today's (9/16/23) show reminded me of an old business joke .... At Acme Dog Food's annual management meeting after a terrible year, the President gets up to talk. We have the best processes across the our enterprise. Our manufacturing is second to none in efficiency and quality. Our distribution is national and has received many awards. Our multi-channel marketing has placed us at the top in brand recognition. Our sales force has been able to place our product in every major retail chain in the country. He pauses to allow the applause to die down. So why the hell are our results so bad. A long silence until a brave manager yelled out: "Because the dogs hate that shit." ......
