I agree that improving 3 oor 4 positions is probably better than the contribution loss of one great player. When Judge and or Soto were in a slump, they got little offense from the rest of the lineup. I believe they become a WS participant and maybe a winner if they can fill 3B with a solid player, not DJ or Cabrera.

they'll find a solid player to fill out the infield in a few weeks

but much will depend upon Dominguez, Wells and Volpe,

when you count the value of the pitchers added, it might be best to subtract the value of the pitchers displaced


Devin Williams may be an improvement upon Clay Holmes, but Holmes had some value.


Max Fried is good and valuable, but Nestor Cortes was also valuable
