You need to be honest about Harper. Once the Stanton trade was made, it was universally thought that the Yankees would not pursuing Harper or it Machado in a years time. As for Seager. We know now, in hindsight, that already after 2021, the SS job was going to be Volpe's. Many of us thought that Trey Sweeney and his lefty bat would eventually be moved to 3B.
