Paul, IMO, you spent way too much time of your 30 minutes on Boone. Talking about Boone the manager deserves 0 minutes. Cashman & his minions run the dugout, from coaching philosophy, to in game strategy. Boone knew all this when he took the job. The only think that Hal said that I hope is true, is that he gives control of the dugout to Boone.


Bunting & re-signing Montgomery. Both of those moves spit on Cashman's process, the reliance on analytics. Bunting makes other teams think, and changes how they do things. Too many pitchers don't have great control, or catchers with today's one knee on the ground, can't really move well to block a ball. As for Montgomery,…
