"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

Something is wrong with your site, as your site fron wherever i am or thr different devices, the connection is not a solid one, so i just listened to the podcast now, instead of like 3+ hours ago when I first tried. But my thoughts on yours.
First, stop putting any of the blame on Aaron Boone for the product on the field. Where i blame Boone is for taking the money and getting the prestige of being the NY Yankees manager. He took the job knowing he is the manager in name only. He is OK allowing his intellect, dignity, etc to be ground up and tossed away.
With all the winter leagues, training facilities, and emphasis on things…
With 4 years left, don't look for Stanton to be DFA for at least until after 2025. If you saw DJ in the first half, you have to know he was not yet completely healthy. The biggest stumbling block to trading DJ is after tge season he is a 10-5 guy. But DJ is most definitely tradeable. Stanton, where is he willing to go?
In 1968 I saw a game in which Mickey Mantle went 5 for 5 with 2 homers.

It was a reminder of who he was but just like with Stanton's resurgence over the last two games did not reverse the direction of his career. I doubt any team is going to think Stanton or DJ having a big game every now and then in the last few weeks of the season means that they can reverse their declines. I also think that if the Yankees are able to find a trade for either one of those guys all they will be getting out of it is the roster spots plus some very marginal salary relief. Sure they should try…
