During the Podcast, you presented Dr. Fagan and Mr. Gunn with an intriguing, hypothetical trade with the White Sox (shortly after the 27 min. mark) that would fill the CF, 3B, and SP holes in a single stroke. Although the prospect cost would be very, very, high, both Dr. Fagan and Mr. Gunn thought that the idea had merit. Although the Yankees might have to throw in a couple more lower level prospects, I think the idea warrants further discussion. I suspect there would be a spirited discussion regarding the prospect cost.

I think trading for either Burnes or Cease would be cost prohibitive for various reasons. Milwaukee really needs infielders and pitching and since they're looking to contend, you're looking at Cabrera, Peraza, Warren, Beeter, Hampton; which eaves only Luis Gil as the only real option as a callup, and let's face reality, every team needs to have 2-3 guys at AAA who will be called up during the year. As for the CWS, they have their SS in #1 prospect Colin Montgomery, so they may want Cabrera over Peraza. But everyone forgets the WSox have another bad contract, in Andrew Bennintendi. So they might agree to take Verdugo and his 1/$9M in exchange for the entire 4/$60M left on Benninte…

Paul Hopefully Hal and Cashman get right back up on the horse and obtain Bellinger for C F and of course Pitching . Shota Imanga , Josh Hader , Blake Snell, Jordan Hicks are FA Cashman should again revisit talks with Miami on their pitchers . Would of Course that this be done quickly and not be drawn out. Of course Boras who reps Bellinger loves to get his press . Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family and all Yankee fans

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
