"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

Yes anyone can see including myself that Volpe is their leading hitter. That being said my point is that he batted .209 last year and yes he is hitting much better this year and would like to see that continue. As you I am sure it takes a certain mindset to be a lead off hitter Volpe has just started his second year and I was wondering if it might be asking a little much of him. I was wondering why not use anybody else until Volpe has played a lot more games Perhaps Verdugo or LeMahieu when he is ready Just a thought
Paul Yanks are 12 W-6L and so far nothing Offense, Defense and Pitching has not been spectacular. Hopefully the Yanks will put all together then watch out. Again the Yanks top hitters are Volpe .349, Soto .324, Cabrera .294. The worst hitter is Judge .182 I am still concerned about batting Volpe lead off Last night went 0-4 with 4K’S
