Bader actually has better career splits vs LHP vs RHP .244/.319/.388

vs LHP ..251/.321/.474

He's not good in either case but to say he can't hit lefties to save his life is not true. I dislike the trade and I dislike players whose value is almost all tied up in their glove and their legs.

Yes, meant this season and you are right Yankeesblog, good overall point! Perhaps lefties have made some adjustments against him this season. Personally, I don't think Bader is an everyday player right now. Perhaps he can become one again, but for now, for this season, when he comes back the Yankees will have to start Judge in CF against Lefties, until Bader shows he can handle begin to start handling them.


Looks like Bader actually has more power agianst lefties. Perhaps he need reps, once healthy. I like his speed and his defense.


I have no issue with the trade really, but it's not one I would have made if I were Cashman. Given that Monty had been available for…
