"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

I feel that he will take the highest offer and I don’t think that will come from the Yankees… would like him to stay but team might be better off spending on multiple areas that need improvement…no hard feelings if he goes …he helped getting to the World Series but wasn’t enough to win it…Yankees need help in other areas to win it all. So my answer is he is gone.
I don't think the Yankees will be the highest bidder. What does that mean for Soto staying or leaving? According to reports I've read Soto is quizzing the teams he's met with about their organizations their player development and other factors that would affect their commitment to winning. The Yankees will need to convince Soto on those points. My guess - he stays. Ask me tomorrow and I might have a different answer.
I believe he will ultimately return.
Despite all the bloviating from every corner of the baseball world, for me the most important utterance comes from none other than Hal. He stated that they want him back. He followed up with stating the Yankees can afford to sign any player they want. We shall see.
Of course what that means for the rest of the roster is the scary part.
As much as he seemed happy in the Bronx, I think he's the type of guy who would jump teams if team X offered him 500$ over the Yankee offer.
