1.) Yes, the last out was also MY favorite moment in Game 1. Not so much that it was the "last out" but that Luke Weaver DID HIS JOB and did it quite well, closing the door of a seesaw affair, and didn't allow the Royals to regain the lead once again.
2.) My second favorite was also mentioned by another commenter. It was Jazz's aggressiveness on the basepaths allowing him to score on a "soft single". (Bob Costas screwed up and called the Yankees 3B coach "Luis Garcia" instead of his true name "Luis Rojas" when that happened!)

Wells's 2 ABs after Judge that resulted in him getting RBI. One, a walk, following a Judge BB, not trying to do too much (like Volpe after the Jazz base hit), then after Judge struck out, Wells gets that RBI hit.
