ST Game: Rays vs Yankees

Writer's picture: Philip CashierPhilip Cashier

Welcome back to baseball. There is approximately 3 feet of snow on the ground in my front yard.

The Yankees are the home team, but this is the Rays home stadium.

While I have agreed to do the Game Threads, I am very disappointed that Paul would not guarantee me a World Series win.

Game Threads will be for all ST games on YES.

Judge and Wells are getting extra rest because of the deep post-season run. Some guys out there today get no respect.

Will the Yankees strike gold with the Schmidts this year?

i really hope it is Bellinger 2nd, Judge 3rd. I believe that gets a huge season out of Bellinger. we kinda looked like a team that knows how to play defense today when Bellinger threw to Jazz at 2b to nail the runner who rounded the bag too far

after Bellinger and Judge, we obviously need someone to offer solid protection to Judge. I think there are a lot of choices. I really think we are going to want a hitter at the deadline. hoping they do what they need to do to get a game changer if one is available

Replying to

definitely Bellinger in front of Judge.

gotta have the other team afraid of issuing walks to Bellinger

and gotta have Cody making the most of the fatter pitches entailed in not allowing him free passes

2 hits, 2 rbis -- Goldy will win the MVP

my guess is that this lineup gives us an indication who the Yankees favor for the leadoff spot. i could definitely be wrong. it is only a guess

whoever Kay's partner is today states that he believes Judge will bat 2nd this year. I understand the logic for it, and in the optimum scenario, I do believe 2nd is a fantastic spot for Judge. for this team, I fear Judge batting second makes the lineup quite short
