Slow Hit: Cole Perfect Through 7; Offense Scores 13!

What a game...to follow strictly through notifications from the MLB app. I was busy and didn't even realize the game ended a while ago...

I'm looking more closely at the box score and the team stats. In 7 games, Carpenter has 5 hits: 4 HRs and tonight's bunt single to the left side that hit the third base bag. In 43 games, Gallo has 5 HRs, and (I'm willing to bet) Zero bunt hits to the left side. If Carpenter can slam all those HRs and still not be emasculated by bunting for a hit, WHY CAN'T GALLO? Why can't he even try? I so badly want Gallo to succeed, but I've come to believe he should be DFA'd.

FWIW, since Wife and I returned home from Broadway, I've been enjoying the highlights on https://www.mlb.com/yankees/video (no, I don't get a kick-back if you click on it). I'm bitter, though, that YES isn't even rerunning the game overnight, as they do when it's on Amazon. I'll stay up to watch the post-game show rerun at 1am. This looks like a fun one (unlike last night, which was stomach-churningly exciting).
