ProfRobert comes to our assistance and provides this week’s Baseball Card Trivia.
March 8 is the birthday of Jim Bouton, pitcher and author of Ball Four, which described the 1969 season where he was with the Seattle Pilots before being traded. In Bulldog’s honor, we present players, like Bouton, who toiled for both the Yankees and Pilots, during the latter’s one-year existence. Now, these would be easy to guess if you look at the Pilots’ roster, so no peeking there (rereading Ball Four, however, is always encouraged).

This player was a September call-up for the Pilots and so didn’t overlap with Bouton. But when I was looking at the roster, it floored me, because I never knew he played for Seattle.
