I think if these 3 are fired, lots of others we want gone, let it Boone, Graham Johnson, Kevin Martir, etc. they will be.

I know Boone actually set it, but the truth is Cashman doesn't want to have to sit Verdugo and his $8.7M contract. He is already forced to sit the $15M man, LeMahieu, and decided to accept Grisham and his $5.5M to be a bench player. Plus Wells has played too well that Trevino's PT is up to the other team, outside of Cole's starts.

Cashman doesn't…

The Yankees have as good a chance as any of winning the World Series due to the mediocrity of EVERY team that is going to be in the post season this year. The Yankees have a 50% chance of winning the World Series and so does every other 2024 team in the post season, since every team in it this year is flawed in some way and has gone through losing streaks this year in which they looked dreadful, and has lost series and has even been swept by the worst teams in the game.

no one knows which teams will fight through October to reach the World Series

and doggoneit, all the teams are just so, so mediocre

maybe they'll play the Series despite that

and

should they play it

the Yankees might have as much oof a 50-50 chance as any other AL team.

I worry about the late-inning relief pitching and think that the Yankees' relievers will have to grid their lions, in order to insure victories.

in furtherance of that, a young lion forced out of the rotation might be made to brace the bulls

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
