The Yankees seem set to extend Aaron Boone's contract.

If the Yankees were to go a different direction, who would you want the new manager to be?

If we keep poaching players from Japan, isn't it time we start to look at the coaches and managers in the league? After all, someone is teaching all of the "great" players" coming over how to play. How about bringing in Hideki Kuriyama or Hirokazu Ibata for a test drive?

We had a Japanese manager in the minors a while back (I say that because I met him one year at Spring Training; no idea if he's still around.)

Fire Cashman and his Myrmidon, and bring back Girardi.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
