Max Fried pitched a gem.

The Yankees won!

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

Fried was awesome. hopefully this is something like a normal-ish game for him and not the highlight of his 8 years, or even the highlight for just this year))
Judge with 2 hits
Cabrera 2 hits- I feel like this will be overlooked. it was him getting on with 2 outs that brought Rice to the plate for the HR. he was also on base for Judges 2RBI single
Goldy 2 hits and 2 more balls hit very hard that found leather instead of grass
I know it's early the season but when your closer was taken out with a 4 run lead and almost blew the game that's not a good sign. I don't know about Devin. Maybe the pinstripes are too heavy for him.
Watching Williams is like watching Holmes last year.
