Mike King checked another box in his quest to cement a spot in next year's rotation, proving that he could get outs against a potent lineup without his best stuff and very little command of the stuff he had. The Yankee lineup, having squandered numerous earlier opportunities, finally broke through in the top of the 9th with an opposite field 2-run home run from Austin Wells (his 3rd HR in 5 games), giving the Yanks the 2-0 win!
