Quick Hit - Yankees Win 5-3

by Paul Semendinger

***

Can they make me a believer in the team? Can they? Can they?!

I keep writing that all a team needs to do is win 2 out of every 3. Yup, the Yanks are doing that.

All they need to do is win series. Yup, they're doing that.

Win. Win. Lose. And win again.

The Yankees are 6-3. That sounds nice. It's an excellent start. They're doing what they need to do.

Nifty Nestor is 2-0.

Judge hit two homers.

I'll take it.

I might not believe 100% in this team until someone catches the final out of a World Series win, but it'll be a fun season if they just keep on keeping on. It'll be very fun if they prove me wrong all year long.

Let's Go Yankees!

Mike Whiteman will have the full recap at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
