"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

I suggest replacing Cashman with Charlie Brown. Make Snoopy the manager, I'm sure he can out manage Boonie.
Paul you can blame anybody from Hal Cashman, Boone, coaches, analytics, minor league instructors, players. Aaron Boone is an unserious manager who refuses to ever talk bad about his players.
You wouldn't raise your children without consequences. Meanwhile, the Yankees do the opposite. Players who play poorly need to be held accountable. Managers who manage poorly need to be held accountable.
I'm not saying we need to put them on blast, but constantly positive energy is not a good thing. Sometimes we need to address things head-on.
Apparently the Yanks can negate the opt out by tacking on another year at the current rate. Cole must be feeling pretty trapped & hopeless right about now. I know I do.
