The Yankees are 5-5 in their last 10 and they have now lost the season series (yes, really) against the Minnesota Twins 2 wins to 4 (with one game to play).

I have to ask... is anyone surprised by this?


Haven't many of us been questioning this team's roster decisions since October or November?


Montgomery has pitched in 16 games since he was traded. Bader has played in 14.


When you acquire frequently inured players, it can't be a surprise when they get...injured. The fact that Bader is injured and Stanton is injured and Donaldson is injured aren't excuses. It isn't "bad luck." It is what seemed very probable of happening. The same holds true for Luis Severino and Tommy Kahnle and Frankie Montas.


The Yankees are now 13-11. They're on pace to win 88 games. Sure, it's a small sample size, but so many were saying, just a few wee…
