For only the 2nd time in July, we can say the Yankees have won a game! This one was all on Trent Grisham.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
We are excited to announce our new sponsorship with FOCO for all officially licensed goods!
A one in a row winning streak!
A win is a win but the offense is still a big problem. We just barely won and Grisham was the only offense tonight. Not good at all. I would put Grisham at leadoff and put Verdugo in the bottom of the order.
This day is something of a blur, but I think I was discussing with fuster Trevino vs. Wells from June 13 (when the team badness started) through yesterday. So I'm home now, enjoying the first of what I anticipate to be several (well-deserved) beers, and this is what I found: Trevino: .143/.250/.371/.621 (and a BABIP of .130). Wells: .209/.333/.395/.729 (BABIP .241). It's not so much that Wells should be anointed; it's that he's not as bad as Trevino right now. If I'm the manager, I simply l/r platoon them (regardless of who's pitching), while also staying away from day-game-after-night-game double duty.
Tim Hill wants to stay once everyone else is healthy!
Moving Ben Rice just because... well, maybe not. But he is a rookie, so no matter what there will be nights like this for him at the plate.
On the Postgame on YES, here we go again, Blake getting credit along with Boone for the pitching moves. But when they fail? It's all on Boone.... hmmmmm
I can deal with seeing Cabrera as a defensive replacement... but really with no bench, Cabrera is still going to need to play about 2 times a week in different spots.
Is there any difference between last year's hitting coaches and this years? I can't see any.
Finally, no Dan Stanhouse impersonation tonight for…
Rays, 9 real hits, 5 walks, 12 LOB, GIDP, 0-10 RISP. I think the Yankees and Rays must have switched uniforms.
