Quick Hit: SWEEP!

***

The Yankees didn't make it easy- they used a boat load of pitchers, but they won

8-5 to complete the sweep of the Twins, both on the road and at home.

They have now won 8 consecutive games.

The complete recap comes at 6:00 a.m.

The word from Aaron Boone is that Soto's sore forearm has been bothering him for the past week or two. He took Soto out after the rain delay only because, since the soreness was there, he didn't feel right sending him out there again after the delay. And he will be getting imaging tomorrow to, as Boone puts it, "see what we've got".

it is very sadly obvious that BOTH you and robert are correct!! we have seen this set of circumstances play out WAY TOO OFTEN(((

and he has been having forearm discomfort, but playing through it, sounds ominously similar to one season ago with Dominguez

THAT SAID- for other teams, players DO play through discomfort and even pain ALL THE TIME. there is no chance that Soto averages something like 159 starts a year for his entire career, but has never played through discomfort or pain before

i am crossing my fingers, my toes, my beard hair- not really, and anything else i can think of!!!! and praying that this plays out like it has EVERY OTHER time Soto has playe…

Nothing new on Soto. Dr. Ahmad was there to do a check. But they will do imaging tomorrow.

Dominguez played 7 innings in CF. Went 3-4. Still not yet playing a full game in the field.

Not going to be concerned about Ben Rice at AAA. Talk to me at the ASB; But what does Jesus Rodriguez have to do to get promoted to AA?

ESPN lists it as an Apple-TV game. That where I got my info.

YES lists it as being on YES.

I hope it is broadcast.
