Quick Hit: Shutout

The Yankees lost 5-0 tonight while collecting just 3 hits. It was a poor effort from a team that constantly goes to rubber games...ugggg.

it was a very good performance by the Royal's battery

no, it wasn't a poor effort from the Yankees.

it was a poor result.

the team that scored 10 runs the previous day did not decide to not try last night. they, purely and simply, were beaten by a hot pitcher who set the tempo and relentlessly threw strikes.

the team that drew seven walks on the night before last night certainly didn't get walked by Lugo

We couldn't touch Lugo tonight he made the lineup look anemic. Man that was a snoozer. I think I was half asleep watching this game.
