Quick Hit: Series, Won!

The Yankees took 2 out of 3 from Boston this weekend, scoring 26 runs in the process. That was fun!

I'm guessing Stanton comes back tomorrow, so Judge goes back to CF duty, and with Wheeler going tomorrow night, I'm guessing Torres gets to start the game on the bench with Jazz playing an infield spot, and Cabrera another. But truth is, I'm not sure if I don't want Grisham in CF, with Stanton either still on the IL, or on the bench. You can hit against all these fancy pitching gizmo simulator machines, but nothing like the real thing. Also, not too many guys like Wheeler around, so one more day.

The problem with pre-season predictions is that the predictions unrealistically assume that all the players on the roster will stay healthy for all 162 games, which is, of course, extremely unlikely. The teams that prevail, finish in first place, and ultimately advance to the World Series are the teams with the most DEPTH, the teams with the best ability to overcome the inevitable injuries that will occur to key players for extended periods of time throughout the course of the long season.

I'm watching Chisholm's first interview on YES. If this guy is a Bad Actor, give me 25 more just like him. He's enthusiastic, upbeat and seems genuinely happy to be on the team and to talk with the media.

Jeter was Jazz's idol growing up in the Bahamas and his reason for wearing #2 with the Marlins.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
