Quick Hit: No Use For Bloops

Boone's bullpen issues continue as the offense went flat, defense made costly errors, and the Guardians got lucky with a bunch of bloop hits.

Agree about using Hicks for Locastro . Still wish Peraza had made roster instead of either Locastro or Gonzalez. Could have been a second bat off the bench who stood a chance of getting a hit.

Boone fired all his bullets to soon it appears…was okay with using Carpenter when he did…not so much pulling Stanton so early…also thought he used up the best of the bullpen to early.

Stanton was pinched run in the 8th. How much longer would you wait? They had chances, and didn't cash in. Donaldson and Gleyber hit rockets that were caught with RISP. Thats baseball. Win today.

I made the point that Cleveland was not a push over.

And they aren't.

BIG GAME tomorrow night.

Im trying to figure out why they had Schmidt up immediately after bringing in Taillon?

because they didn't want more than one inning from T

and because Schmidt might not be used to quick warm-ups

screen out all the noise and you're left with the simple fact that the Yankees scored two runs.

two isn't enough.
