I think I've done this pun before, but when the team only gets 3 hits and loses 9-2, it's very fitting.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.
Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."

Yes, three hits is dreadful, even shamefully poor!! But does the problem start with the offense? I'm not sure I can guess where it begins. tunnel rush
When the Yanks were winning they needless to say were playing great baseball, hitting pitching defense. Now the Yanks simply are not. All teams go through this and if anybody told us they would be playing winning baseball at a .627 at the end of June we would have said yes and would have been glad. All that being said every team has flaws. The Yanks fixed the outfield starting pitching but not the infield , catcher and closure. I am hopeful that they can obtain a lights out closer and a hitter for the infield. GO YANKS
yes THREE hits is terrible, even embarrassingly bad!! but does the problem begin with the offense? I dont know if i can really guess where it begins
i will say this. EVERYTHING i have recently said about believing this team will turn it around goes completely out the window if our starting pitchers are no longer able to get out of the second inning without giving up 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 runs!!
can anyone really say what has happened with our starting pitchers?
are they placing too much pressure on themselves to be perfect, because the offense has struggled so much?
is this just a blip or a brief correction to the norm after being incredibly good for…
