Quick Hit: Meaningless

The Yankees gave us a 4-run, 9th inning rally, and they still lost 10-6. Talk about a meaningless show of "perseverance" and "grit".

In space waves, I felt really excited to move quickly to avoid obstacles. It was a great challenge for my agility!

I'm still waiting for that big, in your face, can't ignore it move by Cashman, or him allowing Boone and the coaches to do something with the lineup and/or the pitching staff that will grab that clubhouse's attention. Sadly though, because they run on analytics, that is not coming on purpose, if it happens to be because of who they activate and who they lop off this roster, it will be of luck, not any baseball thinking!

This game illustrates the importance of, if you ARE behind, at least keeping the game "within reach", because if they did, that 4 run rally COULD have been a "come from behind win". But the relievers failed to keep the game "within reach" in the 6th & 7th innings.

True, but Grisham was sort of a "mop up player", too, since Boone already surrendered the game by removing several regulars and replacing them with players like Grisham.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
