Quick Hit: LOTS of Hits. Yanks Win 12-6

by Paul Semendinger

***

I had to run a bunch of errands, and I ran at a new and fun place, so I missed the festivities, but the lost Yankees offense was found.

The Yankees got 12 runs on 14 hits. Now, that's fun baseball!

The Yankees are 14-11.

Full recap tomorrow from Derek McAdam.

NOTE- Today I ran the Gov. Mario Cuomo Bridge (the new "Tappan Zee" Bridge). It's awesome. What a fun experience. My good friend Ed Hasse and I covered 7.65 miles and enjoying the experience. I highly recommend taking this in if you ever get the chance.

Well since we're gratuitously putting runners on base in extra innings why not let the hitters select the pitcher and the pitch? Sure to produce a lot of action. Not sure about shorter games.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
