Let's enjoy the win, but let's also remember the Yankees outscored the White Sox by only 16-15 and only took two out of three games. In other words, the Yankees basically played even with the worst baseball team in over a century (.238 winning percentage after nicking a game from the Yankees), and second-worst of the modern era to the 1916 Philadelphia A's (.235). That's cause for worry right there.

"let's also remember the Yankees outscored the White Sox by only 16-15 and only took two out of three games."

Then, Fuster made a good point:

"a relief pitcher named De Los Santos gave up 7 of those 15 runs in 2 innings"

Prof, the "culprit" of that stat, De Los Santos was DFA'd immediately after that happened. If De Los Santos was not a Yankee during this series, there is a very good chance that the White Sox may not have scored 7 of those 15 runs, and may have scored fewer than 7 facing another Yankee reliever. So when you take De Los Santos out of the equation moving forward, the Yankee glass becomes "half full" once again.

Grady Sizemore and Aaron Judge are best buddies, as they were teammates together on the Cleveland Indians as players. I can now see that both of them are also very similar as managers and in the managing decisions they make. Like walking Juan Soto to get to Aaron Judge. Sizemore is also like Boone in that he is very well-liked by his players, probably to a fault, as he will likely not hold them accountable when he would have to.

Even Boone was amazed and extremely incredulous about his buddy Sizemore's decision to walk Soto to get to Judge. (Boone said so when he was interviewed after the game). Yes, Boone was shocked by another manager's bad decision.

It might be Judge's night, but besides him showing post game that he is human with human emotions & feelings, these other things happened:

Oswaldo Cabrera was this team's jumper cable with his dash from 2B for a two base SF;

Austin Wells got a hit that drove in both Soto& Judge when Judge didn't hit a HR nor drive in Soto, but Wells got the job with an opposite field knock. Then for good measure, he went belly to belly with Judge;

Then Warren had a nice solid start tonight and Tonkin had a bullpen saving 3 inning save tonight.

This is the type of game every fan wants their team to have. Of course, it helps when the Woeful White Sox are the opponent.
