I had flashbacks to that 2019 game in Minnesota. This one will also go down as a classic. Yankees WIN 11-8!!!

This was a much-needed win but the Yankees has too many holes to fill. The starting pitching has gone south and bullpen has been terrible lately. Good luck Cashman on filling those holes.

So over two games the Red Sox and Yankees have matched each other choke for choke. I see nothing to get excited about.

in a year where seemingly EVERY team has had stretches of extremes, it can be very hard or even impossible to pin point EXACTLY WHAT is the thing that ended a hot stretch and began a cold one OR vice versa?

so I believe your proposition is as valid as anything

along with that, it WAS completely clear that Cashman DID KNOW that he had an incomplete team before the season began. HE DID make very good offers Snell and Amed Rosario that were turned down for varying reasons

and while no offers were made, I think we are fairly sure that there were conversations with Bellinger and others. those talks ended up being unfruitful, because the players / agent…

Congrats, and feel free to take the whole paternity time the Yankees will give you. After seeing what Freddie Freeman is going through, I'm not saying this in any snarky way. Kids are precious.

this one doesn't quite make up for the stinging loss from the night before

when we feel like the losses are extremely difficult and at least a bit crushing, do the players feel them that way also? or have they perfected the every day is a new day. lets go 1 and 0 today state of mind?

i do think they deserve some credit. whatever method they use for dealing with it, this team has gone through easily more than their share of crushing events. but they keep coming back and putting up a fight the next day

how many times today could they have said, OK, here we go again and put it into cruise control?? they kept coming back and coming back and coming back
