QUICK HIT: IKF DELIVERS

The Yankees scored the ghost runner (Greg Allen) in the bottom of the 10th to defeat the Padres 3-2. It was IKF who delivered the big hit, a single to left field.


DJ LeMahieu had 2 runs batted in.


Luis Severino pitched into the 7th inning.


Yanks win.... The Yankees Win!

As crummy as IKF's stats are, he has made significant contribution, and has turned into a plus outfielder.

they've still got to get a far more valuable outfielder to get IKF out of the starting line-up, but he looks like a pretty decent utility guy

Yes, they should keep Bader long term. A superior defender, and surprising power. He takes some of the stress of the corner outfielders.
