some people do find extra motivation, focus, etc... when faced with a new challenge. I do feel Jazz could be such a player

he might like it that people talk about it being dumb to play him at 3b and want to prove that it is not so dumb afterall

it is CLEAR, he has the tools to play the position. will he make some mistakes related to a lack of familiarity with the position? probably

ultimately-

what will the difference be defensively between him and DJ / Cabrera- do we lose runs? how many

what will the difference be offensively between him and DJ / Cabrera- do we gain runs? how many

in the game thread, the quesion was asked would any of us accept javy baez and his contract as part of the price for adding Jack Flaherty

i have 2 follow up questions

first, what are they asking for in prospects?? do i get Flaherty for Sabier Marte if i agree to take Baez?

OR what if they would take Gleyber

I will give Warren, Vivas, and Periera for Flaherty

and attatched to that trade

i give Gleyber for Chafin and Baez

so they eat one year of Gleyber and we eat what? 3? 4 years of Baez

would you do it?

and my second question

would George have done it? because in theory, if we would just agree t…

Replying to

Mine actually offered a better package for the Tigers. They have lots of pitchers, but too many with injury concerns in their system. I'm giving them an OF, a utility guy who catches too, and a healthy pitcher in Warren, who as usual, the Yankees are ruining in AAA, under this current bunch of pitching 'coaches'. They signed Keith to a ML contract, he'll be the 2B, and Jung will be the 3B. Outside of Greene, no real OF.

not being able to watch, I was very pleased that Stanton had zero Ks

but the box does not tell me much more?

did he hit the ball hard with no luck as to avoiding defenders? or did he flail somewhat unathletically and hit the ball weakly
