I guess Cortes didn't like that he was being dangled in trades. Sorta reminds me of Pettitte in '99. I know what Leyritz said about it, but if I remember correctly, instead of trading Pettitte to the Phillies, they went and got Leyritz back to be Andy's personal catcher.
What a fun game. Fun to see contributions from guys - like Gleyber, DJL, Verdugo, Cortes - who have all struggled and at one point or another felt the heat. Add in a clean inning by Holmes for the save.
Better to not have to rely on exceptional plays to win.
