May Day!

The Yankees were winning after eight innings. Unfortunately, they have to play nine.

The Yankees are now at .500 for the season.

Aaron Judge was also played on the 10-Day I.L. Remember when we were told, "Oh he's fine, probably no IL for him." Yup. It'll now be at least without him.

The Yankees managed six hits today. Since June 30, 2022, the Yankees are a .500 team exactly. I keep hearing that that's a small sample size but this is now May, and that streak started in June. Granted it's the first of May and that was the last of June, but this isn't a small sample size. It's just not. At all. And soon that small sample might be over a full calendar year.

The Red Sox are winning as I write this. If they hold off and win, the Yankees will be in last place - alone.

Last place.

That's the opposite of "King of the hill, A, number one, top of the heap..."

Yeah... These little town blues...but they aren't melting away. It's getting colder.
