De Los Santos, when translated to English, actually means "Of The Saints". In an odd twist, the team that De Los Santos totally bombed and self destructed against, (the White Sox) snapped him right up as soon as the Yankees DFA'd him. The White Sox must has seen something positive in him as they were teeing off against him.

hope Schmidt comes back good

and strong

and soon.

it looks as though the team might need Gil to pitch at the end of games

instead of the start of them

I think that Schmidt is good and going to become very good

but that Rodon, when his emotions are under control

and when he's nixing in change-ups and an occasional slow curve,

is the second-best

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
