Gotta love Ben Rice. He grew up in "Boston Red Sox Territory". A place where they adored JIM Rice. Yet, from his home town of Cohasset, a suburb of Boston, in the middle of "enemy territory", he once went to Fenway Park to proudly announce his allegiance, surreptitiously scrawling “Yankees Rule!” on the right-field Pesky Pole.

WOW blog!! I love that idea. Miggy is one of my all time favorites. really feel like life threw him some TOUGH curve balls. and kinda figured he is better off with a change of scenery, never to return. but your proposition is perfect

I really wish the Yankees would try to do this at, at least one position, use a platoon with 2 good hitters. that way we at least have one good pinch hitting option on the bench
