Quick Hit: 9th Inning Rally

Stanton HR, Torres & Verdugo Hit, a Trevino RBI single, a Soto walk, and a 2-RBI single from Judge was a perfect 9th! Yanks win 6-4!

That's a real big league win. Comeback in the ninth, great defensive play to close it out. Clutch!

I have noticed that Yankee pitchers, for the most part, only seem to have "that one bad inning" and then pitch well AFTER their bad inning.

Huge comeback to avoid the sweep. Stroman pitched well other than that one inning, bats came up clutch in the 9th.

Happy to see that Stanton is proving the naysayers wrong, with another team-leading homer (The naysayers, as Yankee fans, WANT to be wrong, of course!). Happy that the Yankees won, because the win allows them to maintain their spot as the first place team. That hot breeze we feel is the Baltimore Orioles breathing down the back of our necks at only a 1/2 game back.

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
